Privacy Policy

Last updated May 23, 2026. Written in plain language because trust shouldn't require a law degree.

1. Introduction

Your trust is the product. AI Confidence Camera ("we," "us," "our") is built around the belief that the most personal thing you can give an AI — your face, your voice, your nerves — deserves the strictest possible care. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what's always under your control.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account info: name, email, OAuth identifier from your sign-in provider.
  • Device info: model, OS version, language, crash diagnostics.
  • Usage analytics: aggregated, de-identified app interactions.
  • Audio & video recordings: only with your explicit consent, per session.
  • Billing info: handled by our payment processors; we never see your card details.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Provide real-time feedback and your performance history.
  • Improve our models — using opt-in, de-identified data only.
  • Personalize practice prompts and difficulty.
  • Process subscriptions and prevent fraud.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Ever. We share strictly necessary data with vetted service providers (hosting, payments, analytics) under contracts that mirror this policy and forbid resale or independent use.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Session recordings are retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted, unless you've saved them to your library. You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data from Settings → Data, or by emailing Developers@qfnetwork.org. We honor requests within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. EU/UK residents have rights under GDPR; California residents have rights under CCPA. Use the in-app tools or contact us — we won't make you jump through hoops.

7. Security Measures

Data is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.3 and at rest with AES-256. Access is gated by least-privilege roles, hardware-key 2FA for our team, and continuous logging. We undergo independent security audits annually.

8. Children's Privacy

AI Confidence Camera is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. Users 13–17 require verifiable parental or guardian consent.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States and the European Union. Transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable, and our practices are designed to comply with GDPR and CCPA.

11. Changes to This Policy

We'll post material changes here with an updated date, and notify active users by email or in-app message at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
